MSD Pro Mags are used in extreme racing conditions and we hand build our Non-Magnetic Pick-ups to handle these conditions. Each pickup is wound on special bobbins and terminated to our tinned conductor, Teflon jacketed wiring. A strain relief protects the wiring where it leaves the threaded housing. Once assembled, the wiring is placed in a vacuum chamber and the windings are potted in a fracture resistant epoxy compound for extreme durability. The Non-Magnetic Pick-ups are available in two housing sizes. The 3/4″ model is used with MSD Flying Magnet Crank Trigger Kits. The 3/8″ diameter pick-ups are used with MSD Sprint Car Crank Trigger systems as well as the aftermarket kits from RCD and PSI. MSD non-magnetic pick-ups are hand assembled in-house before being vacuum potted with epoxy creating a vibration resistant package.
